Rotary & Ambassadors

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Ambassadors of Compassion is so proud to count Rotary Clubs in Northern California and, soon elsewhere, as our cherished partners in transforming our youth. Watch our videos, download helpful resources, and learn more about how your club can get involved. Please contact us with any questions.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Nearly 100,000 students have completed Ambassadors of Compassion’s evidence-based resiliency building programs. Independently proven to reduced anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation; the programs effectively minimizing the emotional and mental health obstacles that lead to destructive behavior and prevent students from reaching their full potential at school, in the workplace, and in life. As a Rotarian, you are uniquely qualified to help Ambassadors improve the emotional and mental well-being of local students, empowering them to succeed and serve their community. All it takes is a heart for the mission and a point-person or small task force in your Club to help: Engage Local Schools – Introduce Ambassadors of Compassion to decision makers and influencers from your local schools. You don’t need to know the program. Just help facilitate the meetings. Ambassadors will do the presentations. Provide Volunteers – The Ambassadors programs provide service opportunities for Rotary Clubs and members ranging from 1 to 10-hour time commitments. Volunteers can choose to participate with students in a kickoff event, participate with students in one or more of the program’s ten 1-hour sessions, participate in a service project with students, or any of a number of other volunteer opportunities. Volunteers regularly attest that working with the students was as meaningful for them as it was for the students. Fund Students Through the Program – The price of the program for schools is $250 per student. With grants and scholarships already secured by Ambassadors, you can fund a student through the program for just $120 per student. That’s only $12/ week for a student to complete the life-changing Ambassadors program at their school and non-profit. Additional scholarships and program packages may be available. Contact Ambassadors to learn more. Identify Sponsors – Rotary members know people. By leveraging your network, you can help secure kickoff event venues, engage local and national media, and introduce corporate sponsors willing to fund the additional $120 per student it costs to deliver the program and build sustained residency in schools. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to have a positive impact on local youth and your entire community. Thank you for considering this life-changing initiative, and more importantly, for modeling the Rotary International mission of service to others.
